Jeroen

As expected, a pant wettingly good report, some beautiful photographs of some incredible species.. your report, along with the up coming Morocco report from Gert Jan and the Turkish report from Bobby and Laura will take some equalling! herping outside Europe may be the way forward when /if I finish this damn tick list..
And as for seeing two of my favourite Asian snakes in one trip ( Calliophis and tropidolaemus)..you Sir are a complete bum bag :D

Regards

Paul

Beautiful! :P
I was in Malaysia during 5 different vacations, and I feel nostalgia seeing your pictures... places, food and herps. And I say "Hello" to all my malay friends who (maybe) will read my post here!
Even if it could seem easy, it's absolutely not an easy task to find reptiles (I mean: snakes!) in the wet tropics: nothing to do with our "easy" mediterranean spring! 8-)
No signs or tales about king cobras?

The blue coral snake... wow... I did not imagine they could grow up so large!

P.S. Interesting and unusual (for me) the nocturnal activity of both P.korros and Z.fuscus

So Jeroen, that costed me at least half an hour, but it was time well spend! Great report and too many supercool species to remember it all, so I will look again sooner or later, See you!

Fantastic buddy! Amazing array of species and showing so well the diversity of the rainforests in this corner of the world. Stunning pictures as well! Seeing this makes me very hungry towards some tropical herping again myself, but this standard will be hard to beat under suboptmal conditions in SE Africa.
