Postby Peter Engelen » Wed Dec 02, 2015 9:27 pm

The colors were brown, white, pink, green, and something in between, but no ' very easy to find' Yellow. Every local showed me a nice Yellow collection on their cellphones, so I got a little bit frustrated so I took a local who showed me all the trees where he ever found a yellow one. We searched for 3 hours ...

Congrats on the banana-yellow Botriechis! Stunning indeed. I am a big fan of the shot of the Botriechis nigroviridis! I enjoyed your frog post as well! ;)

Finding the banana with some more effort only brings along more satisfaction when all the effort pays off right?

With all the best and thanks for sharing!

I think my girlfriend was more satisfied cause I finally stopped nagging about finding a yellow pitviper. I think she had a deja vue, about searching for 3 nights after a green pitviper in Malaysia.

But I was happy too.

Peter or anyone else any idea about which percentage is yellow like that? Is it a local morph, or is it found in more or less all populations.
