Hi,
I planned a last minute three weeks trip to Sri Lanka. I´m leaving together with my girlfriend this weekend. So far we scheduled high level route of a trip. We want to travel all the island except northern part. Does anybody been there? I guess I have a quite good chance to see a lot of local herps but have no experience with herping in these areas. I try to find something by myself, but due to lack of time any webs, field guides or contact for somebody local (guide, If it´s necesarry) will be highly welcome.
Best regards,
Tomas

And this Gecko? I guess some hemidactylus (also Ella), on the walls were also H. frenatus.

I will post the rest, as soon I will sort it :) Thank you!

I changed my opinion. Looks like hemidactylus depressus. It was found on a higher altitude in Ella and lacks the white spots.

I would also go for Hemidactylus depressus. Also because of the dark 'X' marks from the neck to the base of the tail.

All other lizards are Calotes versicolor.
