While the amphibian and reptile faunas of Australia may be not as colourful as those of some other parts of the world, there is more to be found than just loads of brown skinks.

 Where did you get this impression from? Amphibians maybe yes, but in my mind Australia has always been a top spot for reptiles with many iconic species.

Anyway, congratulations on all those great finds! I have to say I share you fascination for the Thorny Devil, so this was my favorite, and a childhood dream of mine too.

By the way, according to the "IUCN/SSC Tortoise & Freshwater Turtles Specialist Group" checklist from 2017, Wollumbinia latisternum is now Myuchelys latisternum.

Have nothing to say, just WOW! What an epic trip. So many species
I just returned from Cambodia, not a herping trip, but couple of days/ nights I really tried and found almost nothing :/
