Holy c**p! ;O) That must have been the hell of a cool vacation. I love North American herps. I'm especially jealous of that red-sided garter. I find them so extremly beautiful. Also love all the salamander pics. I really have to look at your entire collection of pics from your trip in more detal within the next days. Really neat stuff. :O)

I was this summer in California , Nevada , and Arizona and found some nice herps to and a few intresting inverts.
Did you search in some National Parks?

Yes, Sequoia & Kings Canyon, Yosemite, Lassen and Redwoods (= except Joshua Tree, all NPs in California).

Thanks, Ross, nice to see you found your way here from the FHF ;) . It was too big for me to handle into a more estethic pose just by myself (out in the desert at 2:30am... those were the days aaah!).
