South Africa 2011

For your reports/images, made outside Europe and the "Mediterranean" countries. Not to be too narrow minded and limited to our European/Mediterranean herps.

Heh, so is it a luck that during snorkeling I was finding only crabs, fishes, octopuses, cuttlefishes and Palpata species? :P

Hi,

Thanks for your feedbacks. For sure I've had a great time there.

Guillaume: I agree, in my opinion, the green snake was rather a Philothamnus semivariegatus than a boomslang but I had been told that they're not so common on the contrary of the boomslang hence my hesitation. I also confirm that the sharks were one of the highlight of the trip. ;)

Mario: Well, the thumb up was rather for having saved the turtoise from the mighty road but indeed, I've been told that the Homopus aureolatus was quite endangered.

Love the pics. I am totally into those pics of the great white sharks. Awesome! I really hope that I'll have the chance to see one, too ... one day.
