Hi @ all,

we (D. Bohle, F. Reimann, M. Gebel, M. Glass, S. Möller and me) made a trip to the cyprus island to search for some big vipers, with success :)

Here are a few Photos from our trip, I hope you like it.

Awesome photos, I also enjoyed your trip report. I've already admired some of the pictures taken by Markus. Great to see more. The grass snakes are real beauties. I can't help it, but the Dolichophis jugularis really reminds me of an American black racer. Kinda cool. My favorite is probably the Malpolon. Which were the species that you wanted to find but couldn't?

Great photos and finds, especially the Grass Snakes. What is the situation with the Cypriot Grass snakes. Are they afforded any sort of protection on the island now ?

I think their situation is critical..on the one side they build protection and info shields like this

And on the other side they directly destroy the last good habitats....difficult to say which way it goes.

For sure we found a lot of these but (I was) still are to lazy to photograph this little freaks :lol:
