as everyone else, I`m really struggling to find the right words... you guys (and gals ;) ) really rock, this is as good as it gets. Incredibly successful trip, breathtaking pictures, I really envy you for this experience... Thank you so much for sharing!

Congrats on the Pseudocerastes persicus/fieldi, searching for the obvious one and finding an other one also must be herping with an angel on your shoulder.

As far as I can tell from Google Earth information, it should be possible. The habitat does look less mountaineous and thus less optimal but there are patches with seemingly good habitat. I wouldn't mind going there to try it out ;)
