Sneaky wintertrip to Israel February 2018

Laura and I have been herping in Israel for six days with a strong focus on amphibians. During the first four days we had rather chilly conditions with a few rainshowers, providing perfect conditions to find all native Israeli amphibian species! The last two days the temperatures rose and also some more reptiles became active.

Thanks Robin, seeing Latonia in the wild was again such an amazing experience. Together with Alytes muletensis this has to be my favourite WP amphibian!
