we did'nt have lot of chance... really poor of snakes, lizards, few Agamids where outside, just big chance with Naja and Bitis... In Tighmert oasis, an room man killed a baby Boaedon....
The weather was too hot, too cold with full moon and 12° in the morning in Guelmim and 5 days with strong wind.... The only days with sweet weather was in Sidi Ifni where we had chance to see naja and Bitis...

Dear Pierre-Yves,

Very nice pictures you are showing there, I really like the colors of Morocco. The Bitis tongue action is really cool, among others. Even if you didn't find a lot of snakes, I would be already happy after observing such a beautiful Naja in the wild!

the relationship I had with this animal was strange, strong attachment... I think it's due to his attitude, only defensive and "bluff", no agressivity.

Nice trip Pierre Yves!! I love the Sidi Ifni habitats. A really pity the Boaedon killed in Tighmert. Sometimes I can´t understand how is possible that snakes continue alive there with so many conservative troubles...

The best photo is you with the adult cobra in your hands! a european aissaoui!! crazy man...

@Mario: this young Bufonids was found just outside of Sidi Ifni, on the begenning of the road to Guelmim, under the first bridge on the oued. For me it's boulengeri, parotoids was standard size, but maybe you are right, Michel Aymerich said to me it's a place for brongersmai but he was not really affirmative. I will post other pictures tonight.
@Gabri: please indicate me how do to post on your website in MP.
