Really nice trip! But I am not sure that this Natrix natrix is astreptophora ;)

compare also the hipocrepis pics with those of Morocco and Spain.
Might it be that there are open questions in taxonomy? :evil:

Am I missing something here? An undescribed taxon or a different subspecies? I find these North-African Natrix natrix quite interesting!

Great photos, I like the timon, the diadema snake and the cerastes a lot.
It is indeed great to see this mix of " European and African species " living together.
