Hallo everybody

We spend from 01. to 10. April 2013 a nice time in Tunesia. We are a team of ornithologists, enthomologists an me (Urs) as the only herpetologist. Me wife Heidi was the photographer.
From the 1. to 5. April, we are in North of Tunesia, in Bizerte. We try to make nice photos of animals an plants in the areas of Lac Ichkeul, Cap Negro near Nefza and Ghar el Mehl. On the 5. April we make a flight to the Oasis of Tozeur. In the middle of the Sahara dessert, we found a very different fauna and flora than on the coast of the mediterranean sea.

We hope you enjoy the photos
Urs and Heid

Great trip you had, very much enjoyed seeing pictures from that corner of the African continent! Congratulations on finding Natrix n. astreptophora there, I believe it is not all that common.
