South coastal Morocco september / october 2019

Hey all,
Last autumn I spent the last week of september and the first days of october together with my wife in southern coastal Morocco. I would like to share some impressions with you. Morocco can be sometimes very tricky as you can visit the same places several years in the following. One time you will find a lot of reptiles, the other time you may find almost nothing...but it is always (also in good years) a lot of work in the field.
The weather in autumn 2019 was not the best (some nights the temperatures dropped down to less than 16°C) and we didn´t find a lot on the street. In the daytime there were few hours of cloudless weather (rhen the temperature rised up to 30-35°C) before the clouds and fog came again. Our main focus were Bitis arietans and Naja haje and luckily we found 4 Bitis (2 adult females, 1 adult male, 1 juvenile) and 2 cobras (1 juvenile male, 1 subadult male) in the field.
