Hi,
August 2008, I was in Marrakech and I was going to Atlas to search some Vipera monticola.
This rare snake may be find at 2200 m to 3000m in the Toubkal massif. I fond only one in Oukaimeden area, near the lake, 2260 m.
This day was particularly bad for snakes, cool weather with strong wind, BUT, at about 4PM, I found this nice adder.
The food are orthoptera or lizards. Not aggresive, quite and small viper, certainely the smallest of this genus.
Climate at 2500m in Atlas is very hard, with snow from november to march.
