As in 2006, last august/september I spent 2 weeks on Corsica to watch out for one of my favorite lizards, Archaeolacerta bedriagae - and whatever else I could find. I hope the pics can demonstrate at least little bit, why I am attracted by this impressive rock lizard. First, some pictures from manganello brook, near Vizzavona:
And also: Podarcis tiliguerta and dragon-fly
Next pics are from the Tasineta brook (near Haute Asco). There were no rock lizards but some Tiliguertas one baby Algyroides fizingeri and Painted Frogs Discoglossusmontalentii and of corse dragon-flies:
The Cascades d'Anglais are a fine habitat of both, tourists and lizards!
And also P. tiliguerta.
In the very north of Corsica there (Desert des Agriates, Ostriccioni-Beach and sme other places) where we found a beautiful Natrix natrix corsa and some Wall-Lizards and, in the dunes of the beach and on trees some P. siculus campestris (no pics).
Enjoy!
