Northumberland berus

Hullo,

Had a short trip back to Northumberland last weekend and was able to visit my usual V.berus spot. Species observed included A.fragilis, Z.vivipara and a few berus. here's a couple of pics;

Nice! I like herps + flowers photos. It's good that you can still observe the adders..my spot is way too overgrown with vegetation by now and you have to be very lucky to spot any snakes.

OHHHHHHHH WOW Adders I think in Northumberland didnt think we got them this far up North, Im from South Tyneside so not to far from this area. Sorry and forgive me if Im wrong, Im not upto date with all this and just came accross this site with great interest, great photos.

It's been a while since I've put any local findings on here.
I've recently moved back to Northumberland and took a short trip out last weekend.
Managed to find a couple of nice and feisty berus in another of my favourite locations.
