So me and a friend of mine made a trip to celebrate our abitur and find some herps. Our journey went through Southfrance and Switzerland. I think everybody here knows that it is very hard to find some herps while this period of the year so we expected nothing... well it was more than nothing but to little snakes  so take a look and I hope you enjoy! :)

Thank you! :) There is a funny story to the testudo.. We were in a very dry valley white some ponds and we looked for n.maura and Malpolon. As we started to go back to car at 8:00 pm this little guy was coming to one pond to take a little bath. First we were shocked because we didn't exspect that, but than it made our day :)

P. erdwarsianus has a supralabial scale below subocular scale while P. hispanicus does not. edwarsianus occurs along the Mediterranean coast and hispanicus in Central Spain.
