Blue-eyed western whip snake (with short video)

This afternoon, I walked to a place where I sometimes observe some H.viridiflavus . It was sunny and the temperature was about 19°C. As you can see on the picture below, this place is located close to a vineyard and there are rocks everywhere, which constitues a perfect habitat for western whip snakes.

And here is the mid-grown snake I found. Well, it's not a true blue-eyed H.viridiflavus as mentioned in the title but I had to grab the attention of my potential readers (sorry for that ;) )
