This morning I did what could be the last herping session of the season (but who knows?). Between 9 and 10 a.m, I encountered 3 H.viridiflavus (2 young and 1 adult specimens) which were unfortunately too fast to photograph them. Even if I'm not particularly looking for them, I usually find at least one specimen when I visit this spot since they are really active snakes. At the end of the morning, I was surprised to find again the young asp viper I already observed 2 weeks ago, nearly at the same place. If it's indeed the last herping session of 2011, I'm happy to end it with this little beauty
