A Little Jaunt to Florida

Got back from Florida last week an eight day trip with non-herping friends but obviously I'm not going all that way without seeing some good stuff managed 27 spp (2 dor) plus lots of birds. Full report here and a few tasters below http://carlcorbidgefieldherping.blogspot.co.uk/

Is it common to spot manatees overthere?

Hi Carl,

It's good to see beautiful wild Pantherophis guttatus instead of the usual ugly corn snakes morphs ;) Is it possible to go to Everglades without being harassed by mosquitoes?

I was there a few years ago in july and we got constantly attacked by hundreds of those flying bloodsuckers wen we where out of the car :D
