Malaysia summer 2014: Borneo and Pulau Tioman

For your reports/images, made outside Europe and the "Mediterranean" countries. Not to be too narrow minded and limited to our European/Mediterranean herps.

I've really enjoyed this post, Ronald. I like how lots of your photos have quite a different style, resulting in a nice variation when viewing the animal. Did you flash that last Ahaetulla pic?

Thanks! When possible I try different things. I like to experiment.
No I did not use my flash. I was photographing into the sun and the Ahaetulla was partly in the shadow. The lightning of my camera was right for the shadow parts, so the lighter background is mostly overexposed. I made the artsy photos after I finished making 'normal shots'. :)
