I haven't got a copy (missed a chance to buy a copy signed by all the authors, dammit), but used the book quite a bit whilst in SA last year. A nice book and easily worth buying. You get a lot of book for the money. http://www.wits.ac.za/newsroom/newsitem ... 23782.html
Ordered it 3 weeks ago, got it last week. Finally an atlas with pictures and distribution maps of ALL species, not just descriptions of a few with the rest of the genus merely listed. I ordered my copy through one of the authors, but it is also on the Chimaira stocklist now.
You have to think that it is an Atlas (IUCN), so for conservation and generally for taxonomy is awesome. But the book doesn´t say nothing about habits, description, etc... of species. Anyway, based on the photos is easy to identify the species, and distribution maps are great to know where to check in this huge country.
