Wildlife Illustration

Postby Ilian Velikov » Fri Apr 09, 2010 11:59 am

After years of experience as a concept artist and animator I’m considering to combine my two passions (drawing & wildlife) into one, and start making wildlife illustrations. Since I’m a novice in that particular field, I want to share this drawing of a Tree Sparrow I made recently and I’d appreciate some opinions and/or advises! Thank you!
P.S. Sorry if that’s too off-topic to be posted here but I’d be happy to know what people like the members of the forum, who read books and guides on wildlife think, rather than other “art critics” :)

The drawing looks amazing and you should definitely consider this as a job!

I have also admired you herp drawings, they are so funny & cute, adjusted to each animal's "personality" :)

Thanks again! My problem is that I don't know how that things happen...how you apply for publishing and where? I'll have to look more careful through the internet and maybe I'll find something.
