Who is the "WE" in this case? The Dutch actually didn't FAIL to colonise some parts of the world,
on the contrary, they were among the first and not at all bad at that, only they finally lost them,
just as the British did. And the Brits have never really colonised the "Continental Europe", so what
the f..k would they (or anyone at all) still insist on book titles like "Britain & Europe"?
Excuse my comment, I think I'm knocking on an open door (at least here), but I just had to say it
once in public.

That's it. Our work is done. At last.

219 species
368 colour and 134 black-and-white drawings (if I counted correctly, but  :o )
227 photographs
432 pages

Now the waiting game begins. Of course, we'll shout when it's available.

Excellent. Looking forward to it. If only Bloomsbury would change the title....

Just repeating my comment, after what has been said by others, presumably with the same sentiments...

That's exactly my point as well. Obviously hopeless, for the time being...

I heard a rumor that this book is made of the blood and tears of some of you. Things like divorce, died out friendships, mental beatings, bitch fights and even extortion are mentioned in the wandelgangen..

Can't wait to have a look inside and see if some of those rumors left some traces..
