Who is the "WE" in this case? The Dutch actually didn't FAIL to colonise some parts of the world,
on the contrary, they were among the first and not at all bad at that, only they finally lost them,
just as the British did. And the Brits have never really colonised the "Continental Europe", so what
the f..k would they (or anyone at all) still insist on book titles like "Britain & Europe"?
Excuse my comment, I think I'm knocking on an open door (at least here), but I just had to say it
once in public.
If only Bloomsbury would change the title....
