Hi, my name is Christoph Andrijczuk and I´m from Hamburg, Germany. I grew up in Hannover, Lower Saxony. Since I can remember I was always fascinated by Reptilians and Amphibians and, of course, had a large collection downstairs in my parents house. I studied veterinary medicine and (after a few excursions to wild animal and bird medicine) specialized in surgery. In my free time I´m always out to find Reptiles and Amphibians. Since one year I´m living in Hamburg and indeed I found really good herping places. But currently I still have a lack in local contacts. Are there any other guys from Hamburg out there who are intersted to get in contact and maybe try to create local conservation projects (which is a fundamental interest of mine and I had performed a lot of habitat management projects together with others in Hannover and also medical and surgical treatment and rehabilitation for injured or sick native reptilians and amphibians)?
And I would like to give a big "HELLO" to all the enthusiastic fieldherpers out there. I´m proud tobe a part of this forum now. I give you a few pictures of my this years herping tours in the biggest city of northern Germany...it´s incredible what´s going on there, just close to the human inhabitants (I never expect myself, because I´m not a native townsman ).
Many Greetings,
Christoph
