The thing about mistakes in combination with pathological perfectionism is: you know there will be some, but you don't want to know about them, but you do, but you don't. But you do.

Probably for copyright reasons the sample in the UK Amazon is bigger than the one in the US. Besides everything shown on amazon.com, amazon.co.uk also has some of the photos and illustrations.

I take this opportunity to thank the authors for the complimentary copy!

Very pleasant book to read (currently I have only read some chapter), very complete with simple and clear explanations.
Excellent illustrations, the drawings are fantastic!
Great work!
A book that I recommend!

I suppose I should say thanks for spotting this   ;)
That's what you get when somebody throws in English names at genera at a late stage...

I'm starting to become afraid that my request will become an embarassment ;)

So you are not the only/first one

So, finaly my copy also arrived before the weekend, and I must say I'm enjoying it!.
You have done some great work here!!

But, you asked for errors..

The distrobution of B.calamita - there is a population in Sweden much farther north than on your map in the book. And I guess the exist in between also. There is a big and healty population on the small island Smögen. (this is the only population I've visited in Sweden)

https://www.google.no/maps/@58.3548157,11.2294634,13.5z

So they are definatly further north than extreme southern Sweden.
