Some snake species are just not that easy to find... During two previous visits to Malta I wasn't able to find an Algerian Whip Snake (Hemorrhois algirus) but last weekend I got lucky. Together with my buddy Frank I searched a lot for this species and with perseverance we could both find an individual of this beautiful but elusive species.

I also had "finally" moment in Montenegro, i finally observed live specimen of Telescopus fallax :D a really big adult female!
