Central and Northern Thailand - august 2018

For your reports/images, made outside Europe and the "Mediterranean" countries. Not to be too narrow minded and limited to our European/Mediterranean herps.

Central and Northern Thailand - august 2018

Postby Thor Hakonsen » Tue Dec 11, 2018 11:00 am

In the end og july we again set our course for Thailand, and the vast amount for pit vipers here. We where 3 guys travelling from Norway and in Thailand we met up with the great guys from Tontan Travel, Ton Smits and Aood - perhaps the best travelling company there is for finding as much and diverse herps as possibly in Thailand.

We flew in to Bangkok and travelled stright to Kaeng Krachan National Park, and after this we visited Kanchanburi, Khao Yai National Park and Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park

So, as usual as I'm a photographer and not a writer - here are some of the pics from the trip (feel free to ask any questions)

Photos are excellent. But I suppose you found more amphibians than shown at photos?

Awesome pictures and awesome list. I'm going exactly there (but in the dry season) in a few weeks. You just made the wait feel terribly endless !
