Enjoyed the report and photos as ever. In particular the Anotheca spinosa was a great find. The "Hammer Horror" white spider looks like a film prop!

Where next?

Think it'll be another short February Florida hop - but no concrete plans after that... I feel it might be a bit quiet herp-wise

Costa Rica always delivers, great job on finding the Anotheca (or Triprion as it is currently called), such a special frog!

Seems like you had a blast! Costa Rica tends to be very addicting, so be ready to plan your next trip ;). It's nice to see all the bird shots in your report too!

The first sentence of the trip report already won it for me: "Much like UK summer, UK winter is prime time not to be in the UK. "

Nice report! I visited CR in 2017, saw many locations I also stayed at (including a failed attempt to find bushmasters at Kekoldi lol). Brings back memories!
