Sunday evening I told my wife that I go on Monday for a fast Trip to Tessin/Ticino to picture some Aspvipers (I`m Vipera aspis addicted). She was not much surprised! I promised that I to all the things on the to-do list on Tuesday.
I arrived on Monday morning a little bit too early, most of the stonewalls were still in the shadow of the mountains, so I decided to go deeper in the Valley. I came across this nice area, maybe not good for aspis but possible for berus I thought.

I hike more than one and half hour around but found only one Rana temporaria.
I stopped that and turn around. At the end of the area I saw a thin metal thing.

After some pics I went back to the stonewalls, pictured a few Lacerta bilineata in Shadow
