Stunning pit vipers indeed.

Any idea of the lizard species? I'm thinking Calotes maybe?

Very Hot today. No snake luck. only 1 big Indo-chinese Ratsnake in top of a coconuttree. I took only my macro lens so no picture. Damn. This was my first alive ratsnake in Malaysia ever.

And when we came back from a jungle trail there was a king cobra in a tree on the beach.

It was very dangerous to make this picture. The danger was not the snake but an angry crowd that was trowing stones.

Wow! Absolutely stunning you found a King! Heard stories of people searching for kings in the jungle etc but all without luck! You should consider yourself very lucky!

Wow peter! Nice pit Vipers, nice gecko and awesome the ophiophagus in the tree!!! I thought it would be killed by local people but finally it survived! Thanks for sharing these photos
