Hello Laura,
really nice salamanders.
I spent my holydays in that area twice (but in late summer).- much more reptiles, less amphibians.
I´m going to show some pics hopefulle pretty soon.

That looks like it had been an awesome trip. Very beautiful salamanders and a cool trip report. I enjoyed reading it. I wish I could get out more to see different herp species.

Thanks Sandra, I´m glad you liked it! And you´re right, it was indeed a fantastic trip...you should reconsider your priorities and maybe organize yourself some freetime to go herping abroad. So worth it...(and of course I would love to see your photos
)
