Hi guys!

I am also very interested, especially because we are going to Jordan in April.
So it would be very helpful to get the source to order a book.

This morning I received in the post my "Guide to the Reptiles and Amphibians of Israel". I had the pleasure of sitting in the sun and reading the book cover to cover..

I strongly recommend anyone travelling to Israel to not leave home without it! a very easy to follow, concise and logical guide, good photos and a distribution map for every species. A fascinating section on tracking herps across sand..Its how a field guide should be, but sadly many guides are not so organised..

Even if you are not herping in Israel, it stands as a great reference work for those, like me, that are geeky herp/bird/orchid bibliophiles...

Happily I am off to Israel shortly, and I am sure I will have ticked off the majority of the book in a few hours... or a couple of days if I slack by the pool :D

Cheers Paul

The summer is here
I just came back from a 15 minutes’ walk with my dogs and on the way, next to my house, I found 4 adult “Large Whip Snake” (Dolichophis jugularis).
I finished my hibernation!
