Hi! Redish austriacas seem cool. I just revised my emails and some days ago I received photos of Rafael Vazquez Graña. He found this beauty, first 100% menalistic austriaca photo I have seen. Maybe you find it interesting although it seems not too rare:

here's one from a couple of weeks ago in my study population in Dorset, UK. The ground colour was pinkish-orange and the normally darker markings on the dorsal surface were almost totally replaced with a reddish-orange (hard to explain in words but hopefully the link will work... :) )

That looks a lot like my first ever smooth snake (see viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1699). In fact, it looks more like the one I found than my own pictures do. I don´t like the way the colours came out in those :lol:
