Here in Denmark the best weather was on Saturday - when I was working for 12 hours! Work is never more annoying than on those first days of sunshine and reeemergence in late winter and early spring :x

I tried my luck instead during an extended lunch break on Monday in less ideal conditions, unsurprisingly to no avail. Nevertheless, I did find my first herp of the year yesterday. Out again at night, I came across a single agile frog in a pond - Game on :)

Hmm...found three adult agilis males, but no active adder in my site. Weather conditions were great - almost no wind and 16° C.
