Here in Denmark the best weather was on Saturday - when I was working for 12 hours! Work is never more annoying than on those first days of sunshine and reeemergence in late winter and early spring

I tried my luck instead during an extended lunch break on Monday in less ideal conditions, unsurprisingly to no avail. Nevertheless, I did find my first herp of the year yesterday. Out again at night, I came across a single agile frog in a pond - Game on

Last night was around - 4 Degree, the morning was very foggy +-0 Degree . At around 11:30 h the sun come out temperature raise up immediatley to 5 Degree.
After that I found them.

Very cool!!!! I guess, I can repeat my trip to v. aspis soon. The weather is crazily beautiful at the moment.

Hmm...found three adult agilis males, but no active adder in my site. Weather conditions were great - almost no wind and 16° C.
