Dear all,

one does wonder, why we sometimes work for years and no one seems to bother or note it. After 4 years in the making, the Mertensiella about the dice snake Natix tessellata was released last autumn. And some contributors in this thread either know about it, or are even co-author in that volume. Hey, Mario, have you posted it somewhere?
see the link:

Of course, there is also a quite detailed article about the Prague Zoo populations to download as a 200 dpi version for a few Euros.

For a free small version of the article you would need to contact me.

best greets, Konrad

Nice pictures. That female agilis looks really massive. And I totally love those beetle pics, just beautiful. How did you convince them to hold still? :)

Friend of mine called me, that he had adders on his garden and have no idea what to do with them. He had a little children.
So here are those "adders" (3 individuals) :)

Excuding them, we find a huge grass snake lady (115cm) and hundreds of little toads.

I always wanted a garden like this ;)

Well, I did not have much time since summer. Here are some shots form last week, surroundings of our cottage in Eastern Bohemia. I was able to see just one male of L. agilis, S. Salamandra and R. temporaria.
