No problem ;) The biologist who has a private nature sanctuary tolled me he haven't observed any negative influences on the local wildlife, they eat mostly rats/mice and most people in the area are glad to have them. Even the grass snakes profit since people make places for the ratsnakes to lay their eggs and the grass snakes also use the compost heaps. You can see both species basking together as well.

My first B. bombina this year.

Was rather small- about 3cm SVL. Seemed to had brown parotoid glands. Found under plank among ponds with opaque water.

Here one from me from last night, from my bedroom window I heared lot's of Natterjack toads calling so I decided to take a look. One was on the move on the path.
