Pictures from the past month (Denmark)

Postby Mikkel Frederiksen » Mon May 07, 2012 4:13 pm

Hi everybody.

I just wanted to share some of my pictures from the last two months. All of them from Zealand, Denmark.
Most of the pictures are taken in various location at Odsherred and Knudshoved odde.

All of the pictures are shot with an 200mm zoom. Not the best equipment for photographing reptiles and amphibians.

Yes, It was a rather unexpected sight. I wasn't even looking for reptiles that day.
I was searching for Anas querquedula, it was a cold and windy day.

The entire scenario took about 2 min. The adder was moving pretty fast.
Something must have scared it out from the reed beds where it probably lay hid?
Possible some kind of predator or bird?

Thanks for the comments ;)
