This wooden box: Was there a camera inside? I know they have some there for bears, watching their pathes, but I never saw one in a bird breeding box :lol:

Anyone care to express their thoughts about morphology/pattern of the Alpine clade vs. berus (or bosniensis)? Imho, intermediate, but definitely berus-like...

Well, yes, there most be some genetic factor that determines the % of black ones in a population, as well as the occurrence of those "silver bullets" ...
