Hi,
Just found a dead juvenile Blackbird yesterday; it looks very different. ( Bigger, spotted, etc)
At first I was thinking
Acrocephalus, but I`m now leaning towards
Luscinia.
Am i getting closer

Minutes ago i`ve been told by an ornithologist that the bird was indeed a Nightingale. Not the Common Nightingale as i suspected though, but the rarer
Thrush Nightingale! And this way i added another lifer on my list.
Goes to show you that birding is not limited to field trips. Always be aware of what`s around; by sound, by sight. Be alert even on the way to work or school; look in all the improbable places, and do not ignore those DORs.
